MGCC MIDLAND CENTRE - WELSH TOURING RALLYE 2024

The MGCC Midlands Centre announces that general entries are now open for the above event over the weekend of the 17/18/19 May 2024. This year we will be exploring the fabulous scenic roads of Mid Wales, some described as the best there is, as we travel through the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. 

Covering a distance of some 135 miles the run includes refreshment stops and lunch. We are starting and finishing at the Premier Inn Hotel at Ross on Wye right at the end of the M50 motorway, a very easy location to get to.

We know the the rising costs of our hobby so we have worked hard to bring you an enjoyable but affordable day of motoring with the accent on driving pleasure, visiting an area you probably have always wanted to sample but have never got round to doing so. Now`s your chance. And on the Sunday you can explore Symonds Yat just a short distance away, or perhaps the historic English Heritage Goodrich Castle, again nearby or even Caerleon Roman Fortress and Baths .

A weekend not to be missed.

You will see on the entry form that entry cost per car for an MGCC member is just £50 and a non member £60. That gets you the necessary Route Book, Rallye plaque, and en route refreshments, including lunch.

After entering yourself onto the run, and receiving confirmation of your entry by the Midland Centre, you then go on the Ross on Wye Premier Inn Hotel site (or any other local accommodation you may prefer) to book your room requirements. And the earlier you do that the better the price! All the details are on the entry form. 

If you wish to be included in the reservation for the Saturday Evening Dinner at the Beefeater, please also select this option, and the Midland Centre will add you to the Meal list.

Live locally? Then why not make it a day event and then stay for dinner at the adjacent Beefeater.
