‘GAYDON GATHERINGS’ - Second Tuesdays from April to October
Each month there will be an Informal, fun evening aimed at motoring enthusiasts, these events are free to attend, taking place outside on the Museum's arenas on the second Tuesday of each month from 5.30pm

DRIVE IT DAY IN CONJUNCTION WITH ‘CHERISHED VEHICLE INSURANCE’
A most popular day for a run out through Worcestershire with many Classics and MG’s . This year we are supporting Cherish Vehicle Insurance Services Drive it Day Run on 21 April, starting in Worcester and covering some 65 miles of local scenic roads. With entries pouring in if you fancy taking part please get yours in as soon as possible.

NAVIGATIONAL SCATTER (NAVI-SCAT)

Are you looking for a bit of motoring fun? Then why not give this Naviscat a go. Taking place just outside our area it offers a great few hours of motoring along the leafy lanes of Hereford/Worcester.

Last year our chairman had a go and loved every minute of it along with a pal doing the directions. Unfortunately the date clashes with his wife`s birhday on a weekend the family can get together so he will not be doing it.

Bob Blackstock will talk you through what is involved on the day so no worries. Even our chairman understood!

Tuesday 14th May

MG100 CAVALCADE - JOHN O’GROATS TO LANDS END - MIDLANDS SECTION OF THE EVENT - MEET AT LONGBRIDGE ‘Q’ GATE AT 10.00AM FOLLOWED BY A RUN TO GAYDON.

This exciting event will be passing through our Midland Centre Area as part of a great celebratory drive as all sections of our club stage the final part of MG`s Centenary celebrations. It will feature the receipt of a baton depicting a life sized effigy of the founder of the marque, Cecil Kimber, which will visit sites of interest that have played a part in the creation of the world famous Octagon. And our site of interest is of course Longbridge.

So this is an invitation to take part, because from Longbridge to the British Museum at Gaydon and after a photo shoot outside the former Longbridge Works, Cecil will be handed over to the Abingdon Works Centre, We will travel there via a scenic run which you are invited to join. Start time will be 11am. There is no charge for this other than perhaps £5 for charity. A route book will be provided.

At Gaydon we hope to organise a group photo alongside Old Number One, complete with Cecil in the driving seat, as a memento of a very special day.

Please note access to the museum proper will be subject to the normal ticket price.

This invitation is open to all MG Clubs.

MIDLAND CENTRE WELSHTOURING RALLYE  ENTRIES OPEN 5th FEBRUARY 2024
Back to Wales again this year, the event will feature two days of enjoyable motoring through the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

The MGCC Midland Centre will be organising another ‘Three Counties Run’ during the weekend.

Classic Nostalgia has become a firm favourite for car club gatherings and is the perfect event to hold a members day experience in the most picturesque setting. Each year over 20+ car clubs make the event its annual pilgrimage on their motoring calendar.
